Entering Endoscope Mode

  1. Ensure segmentation is complete — Run segmentation first if you haven’t already.
  2. Click the Endoscope button in the toolbar — this enters picking mode.
  3. Click on a mesh surface — this sets the entry point for the endoscope camera.
  4. The endoscope view activates, showing the first-person perspective from your chosen entry point.

Picking Mode

After clicking the Endoscope button, you’re in picking mode:
  • The cursor changes to a crosshair.
  • Click on any mesh surface to set the entry point.
  • The camera will be positioned at the surface and oriented inward.

Exiting Endoscope

You can exit the endoscope in two ways:
  • Click the Stop button in the endoscope controls.
  • Click the Endoscope button in the toolbar again.

Changing Entry Point

While in endoscope mode, you can reposition your entry point using the Entry Nudge controls (see Camera Controls).
