## macOS Installation

1. Download the DMG file.
2. Open the DMG and drag **Altician Spine Helper** to your Applications folder.
3. Launch the app from the Applications folder.
4. Double-click the app to launch — macOS will block it on first run.
5. Go to **System Settings → Privacy & Security**.
6. Scroll down and click **"Open Anyway"** next to the blocked app.

> This is required because the app is not yet notarized by Apple. You only need to do this once — future launches will open normally.

7. The Helper will connect to the browser automatically.

## Windows Installation

1. Download and extract the ZIP file.
2. Run `Altician Spine Helper.exe`.
3. Launch the app.
4. Windows SmartScreen will show a warning.
5. Click **"More info"** → **"Run anyway"**.

> This is required because the app is not yet code-signed. You only need to do this once — future launches will open normally.

6. The Helper will connect to the browser automatically.

## GPU Configuration

| Platform | GPU Acceleration | Notes |
| -------- | ---------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |

## Verifying Connection

Once the Helper is running, the app shows a connection status indicator in the right panel:

* **Connected** — Helper is running and ready
* **Disconnected** — Helper is not running or unreachable

The Helper runs on `localhost:18765`. Ensure no firewall is blocking this port.
