# Using Scouter

> How to use the dual-view Scouter mode

## Activation

Click the **Scouter** button in the toolbar to enter dual-view mode.

## Controls

* **Camera presets**: Each view has independent camera preset buttons (SAG, COR, AX).
* **Clip plane sync**: The clip plane position is synchronized between both views.
* **Mesh sync**: Mesh visibility and transparency settings apply to both views.

## Exiting Scouter

Click the **Scouter** button again to return to single-view mode.
