# Scouter Overview

> Dual-view mode for simultaneous anatomical comparison

## What is Scouter?

Scouter mode splits the viewport into two synchronized views, allowing you to compare different anatomical perspectives simultaneously — for example, sagittal and coronal views side by side.

## Use Cases

* Compare sagittal and axial planes simultaneously
* View the same anatomy from two different angles
* Monitor mesh overlay from multiple perspectives

## Constraints

<Warning>
  * Activating Scouter automatically deactivates **Endoscope** mode.
  * Activating Scouter automatically deactivates the **Ruler** tool.
