# Endoscope Shortcuts

> Keyboard shortcuts specific to the endoscope mode

## Endoscope-Specific Shortcuts

| Shortcut | Action                                |
| -------- | ------------------------------------- |
| `H`      | Toggle HUD (heads-up display) overlay |
| `Esc`    | Exit endoscope mode                   |

## Anatomical Direction Labels

The endoscope HUD displays anatomical direction labels:

| Label  | Direction             |
| ------ | --------------------- |
| **Cr** | Cranial (toward head) |
| **Ca** | Caudal (toward feet)  |
| **L**  | Left                  |
| **R**  | Right                 |

These labels update automatically based on camera orientation to help maintain anatomical awareness.

  Toggle the HUD with `H` for a cleaner view during screenshots or recordings.
